Dear É«Õ¾Ö®¼ÒBaguio Community,

As we embark on the final stretch of the school year, I hope this email finds you filled with anticipation for the events and celebrations ahead

May 7, Tuesday, Day 1:ÌýCAS Expo Assembly: We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Laura Johnson, our dedicated CAS Coordinator, alongside our Grade 11 and 12 CAS student-leaders, and the initiators/leaders of our Grade 1, 3, 4, 8, 9, and 10 clubs. Their passion, hard work, and invaluable contributions have transformed our CAS Clubs program into a commendable opportunity for students to connect, foster community, and uplift one another. As we reflect on this year’s achievements, we eagerly anticipate the rich and diverse activities planned for the upcoming school year!

The attainment of our ESLRs (Expected Schoolwide Learning Results) is greatly enhanced and diversified through the CAS clubs/program offered at É«Õ¾Ö®¼ÒSchools. Students develop essential life skills, cultivate values, nurture relationships, and build character, shaping them into responsible global citizens and leaders in their respective communities.

Let us continue to inspire and empower our students through meaningful experiences that extend beyond the classroom.

  • NHS Activity: After school NHS Activity at 3:00 p.m. As the school year draws to a close, the National Honor Society is pleased to unveil its Legacy Project, dedicated to enhancing the campus environment. The project entails the creation of a small garden in two prominent areas: behind the statue of Bishop É«Õ¾Ö®¼Òand in front of the Marquee Board, aimed at welcoming visitors to the campus. Collaborating with the Nature Lovers Club, the NHS intends to rejuvenate these spaces by revitalizing the “1909” sign and crafting a distinctive “BISB” sign using copia plants, chosen for their sustainability and low maintenance. With guidance from Manong Dacasio, a selection of complementary plants has been carefully curated to further enhance the garden’s aesthetic appeal. This initiative underscores the NHS’s commitment to environmental stewardship and its desire to leave a lasting legacy for the school community.”

Dancing under the banner of the Aloha Dance Company led by Ms. Karen Navarrete Anton, Ah In, along with her Aloha & Metamorphosis sisters, mesmerized the audience with their performance, highlighting the true essence of dance. Ah In’s participation in this memorable evening exemplifies the diversity and talent within our É«Õ¾Ö®¼ÒBaguio community. This event was made possible through the efforts of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), in collaboration with the Dance Association of Baguio City and The Manor at Camp John Hay.
